Rene Hamilton has served on the Board of Council of Urban Real Estate (CURE) since Fall of 2017. In that time, he has volunteered as secretary and worked with the membership and programming committees.

 

In his professional life, he is a Managing Director with Helmsley Spear, LLC where he specializes in tenant representation for private and publicly held corporations and retail agency assignments. He advises clients on the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Prior to Helmsley Spear, Mr. Hamilton was part of the financial service team at Vicus Partners, a boutique tenant representative brokerage firm.  At Vicus, his clients ranged from international financial firms, law firms and other service providers.

In addition to his work with CURE, Rene also serves on the board of Directions for Our Youth (DFOY), a youth development organization that serves over 2,000 young people enrolled in grades k-12 in New York City. Rene lives in NJ with his wife and two sons. He is an assistant manager with Community First Soccer where he gets to share his love for soccer with his son and other players.

Mr. Hamilton is a native New Yorker and earned his BA degree from Williams College.
