NIKIA WILLIAMS
Nikia E. Williams has served on the Board of Council of Urban Real Estate (CURE) since the Fall of 2021. In that time, she worked with the membership committee.
Nikia E. Williams serves as Associate General Counsel for a nonprofit with a focus on Real Estate Development and Housing. Prior to her current role, Nikia was a Litigation Associate at a prominent New York City law firm and her practice focused primarily on construction law and commercial litigation. Nikia represented real estate owners, developers, design professionals, contractors and other members of the construction industry in litigation and transactional matters.
In addition to her work with CURE, Nikia also serves on the New York City Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Caribbean Attorneys Network (CAN). Nikia dedicates much of her free time to addressing inequities within urban communities, mentoring youth and expanding access to legal services for low-income families. Nikia is also a fitness enthusiast helping to advance various fitness and wellness initiatives.
Ms. Williams earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University and her law degree from New England Law | Boston. Nikia is an attorney barred in the State of New York.
